Sarah Lightman is researching her PhD on “Dressing Eve and other Reparative Acts in Women's Traumatic Autobiographical Comics” at the University of Glasgow and has published in numerous books and journals, as well as being a co-editor of two Special Issues of Studies in Comics. She is co-curator with Michael Kaminer of "Graphic Details: Confessional Comics by Jewish Women" the internationally touring exhibition, currently on display at The Negev Museum, Beersheba. She is also editor of "Graphic Details: Jewish Women’s Confessional Comics in Essays and Interviews" (McFarland) that was awarded The 2015 Will Eisner Award for Best Scholarly/Academic Book and the 2015 Susan Koppelman Award for Best Feminist Anthology. Her first graphic novel, "The Book of Sarah", (Myriad Editions) will be published 2018, and she is co-director with Nicola Streeten of Laydeez do Comics.
